A Backyard Crew That Finishes What It Starts
Luis Morales builds decks, pergolas, screened porches, concrete and roofs across North Alabama — with the permit pulled, the inspection passed, and a finish date you can plan around.
One crew, one point of contact, one finish date
Morales Backyard Renovations is Luis Morales and the crew he builds with. We work out of Tanner, in Limestone County, and most days we're somewhere between Decatur, Huntsville and the Shoals framing a deck, screening a porch, or pouring the slab that's about to go under one.
Composite decking is what we specialize in, and it's the part of the job most contractors get wrong. Composite boards telegraph every framing mistake underneath them, so joist spacing, blocking and fastener pattern have to be right or the deck looks wrong the day it's finished. We build the substructure to the board manufacturer's spec, which also happens to be the only way the board warranty stays enforceable.
We pull the permits and meet the inspectors ourselves. That's not a sales line — it's the reason a Morales deck is a documented structure instead of something a home inspector flags when you go to sell. The same crew pours the concrete, frames the deck, and roofs whatever goes over it, so there's one schedule and one person accountable for it.
Clients who build with us a second time get $500 off that contract. More than anything else, that's how the business grows: we build a deck one year and screen it in the next.
